It’s sad how much director Peter Berg wants to make a Michael Bay movie. Berg has the talent to be more than just an imitator, but now this film has two strikes against it. People were already rolling their eyes at how the notion of adaptating a board game (a game which seems to have so little to do with the plot, you wonder why they even bothered with the license), and now folks can write the film off as a poor-man’s Transformers.
